STUDIO GILLES WERBROUCK
Gilles Werbrouck launched his studio, based in Brussels, in 2018 after having studied Fashion Design and having specialized in Knitwear Design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Brussels and at the Nottingham Trent University.
After 4 years working in the fashion industry in Como (IT), Shanghai (CN) and Antwerp (BE) he decided to launch his own brand keeping the focus on knit but translating what he learned from fashion and applying it to the interior.
This approach results from the observation that knitted textiles is underrepresented and underexploited in the interior design landscape despite its versatility regarding textures, choice of yarn and color, elasticity and finishing techniques.
